So good that they were 9% out in 2011 ;)

Whit?

YouGov were almost spot on with the constituency vote shortly before 2011 and were no worse than the other pollsters on the regional vote.

Actual result in 2011: SNP 45, Lab 32, Con 14, Lib 8

YouGov April 21st: SNP 45, Lab 32, Con 10, Lib 8

They also called the UK General on the exit poll to within 1 seat.

April 21st wasn't YouGov's final poll though was it?

No indeed, but they weren't 9 points out with the other one either. It was within 3 points of the April 21st one.

A polling organisation correctly calling an election from an exit poll is the hilarious low-end of the practice.

They called it correctly where other pollsters in their exit polls didn't.

Surely anyone can see from the data sets YouGov are polling waaay to many elderly Labour voters.

You need to understand that P&B isn't typical of the population when it comes to seeing things.

This place will be hilarious if Yes wins.

It'll be fun either way.

One lot will be on champagne, the other lot on Prozac.

Whatever the result, the final outcome will still be the same. Do what your told, pay your taxes and shut the fcuk up. That is how I see it.

Then to whom do you want to pay your taxes?

Scotland for Scotland or RUK for RUK?

I don't have a choice where my tax goes, I work in England and live in Scotland like a good few others around Dumfries, Annan, Gretna and other border towns. My company is registered in England so my tax will probably go to the treasury down south no matter what way I vote.

If anyone can clarify this type of situation that myself and others in the same position find themselves, then please do.

Because you've never reached the tax threshold.

I don't have a clue what you are gibbering on about mate.

Was your "sole trader" comment actually mean to say "soul trader"?

Whatever eases your conscience through a No vote.

Ah.

I didn't know food banks were only in Scotland. Well spotted Confi.

They're not, but if you'd like to tell me how we can tackle food banks in Wiltshire, I'm all ears.
