Torpar
Always wanted a dog growing up but my dad was never keen on it, finally got my dog in 2016 and she is everything I wanted growing up, even when I take her out in -30C weather and she has to visit the same spot three times before deciding it's where to shite or her insistent on barking at anyone that dares make a sound in the hallway outside our door, still love the wee girl! Turned 5 yesterday
mathematics
First training session with other dogs for Xander today. He did lots of sit, stay, and heel. He was a good boy. Then he came gone and pissed on my carpet. p***k.

Rizzo
Wondered why this pair were licking themselves a lot more than seemed normal and why Skye kept having weird sticky patches appear round about her rump. It seems that Morse has discovered the joy of shagging. Not sure if I need to go buy a packet of cigarettes and cheap lighter for them?
J_Stewart
Got up this morning to get ready for work, then the wife got up to do the same. Rosie the dog - who’s allowed in the bed when the alarm goes off - did not have to get ready for workLazy wee bitch [emoji23]

Thorongil
Just rips the pish out of being allowed on the beds by completely taking it over, leaving a plank to lie on either side. Edited August 22, 2021 by Thorongil

At this point, her hide and seek ability is quite simply untouchable.
philpy
Not a dog owner myself, but one of our neighbours have started their own "natural treats" business. Was a bit weird seeing rabbits ears as treats https://www.oscarsnaturalpettreats.co.uk/product-page/munchie-treat-box?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=fbshop&utm_campaign=wixfbshop&utm_content=Munchie+Treat+Box

Rizzo
Emergency vets for Skye on Sunday when we came downstairs to find a load of bloody diarrhea on the kitchen floor (fair play to her for going there rather than a room with a carpet). Seems to be on the mend now, although it's a bit worrying that she's been ill with two different issues in a month having never been ill before. She found an antibiotic in her tea tonight so gobbed that part on the kitchen floor. Edited August 24, 2021 by Rizzo

She had a bout of kennel cough for about three weeks. She seemed to be getting over that at the tail end of last week then wound up with a bad dose of the squirts on Saturday and Sunday and was pretty miserable. Haven't seen her go for a shit since yesterday afternoon now so am hoping its sorted now. Might be worth asking the vet if you can give anything for Xander. We sometimes use slippery elm powder to dry them up a bit. https://wagwalking.com/wellness/slippery-elm-how-can-it-benefit-your-dog

The anti nausea ones were particularly difficult as they were chicken flavoured so he could smell it a mile off. Had to wrestle him and hold the poor boys mouth shut. While I'm here, last bout of Chemo for the lad on Friday and a scan to see how the cancer is / isnt (hopefully) growing. Excited for him that it'll be over soon but dreading this scan and the possible outcomes. Stomach is in knots just thinking about it. The wife is coming through too this time, last time she came through we got the good news that they hadn't picked up any growths at time of operation. Hopefully she's a good luck charm. If its not good news then she's getting left in Edinburgh!
Brummie Clyde
My dog is very good with his medication. Just eats it on its own. He used to hate having the flea stuff that you spray on, so switched it to tablets.

He also hates getting sprayed with Skin So Soft. You have to spray the Skin So Soft onto your hand and rub it on to him
RandomGuy.
I thought our dog was great eating tablets first time we tried. Fully mushed it into his favourite meal for him and he just went snout first into his food, ate it in about 2 seconds then spent ages licking the bowl clean before trotting away. Walked past his bowl a few minutes later only to see the tablet sitting untouched in the middle of the gleaming bowl. Literally no idea how they manage it.
