First one and last four right for a poor 5/10 on league business. A whopping 24/25 in the lucrative Joe quiz, helped by my missus watching shite reality TV. Not being a big gamer in the 90s barring Champ Man and Sensible Soccer I didn't get the video game one right. For shame.

Best regards to Livia.  How's she enjoying life in Fife?  A step up from Genoa?

Well, as long as you were leading a full life back then .....

Obviously happy for anyone else to do a cup. No way I can do one in May though... I'm away on 2 holidays (check me) ...
I'll have my laptop with me for the first one ... the first week in May ... however, I might not be able to provide the level of service that you've come to expect so if anyone wants to do the league tables for the week after next be my guest.
My other holiday is at the end of May - to the same place oddly enough - but it will only be for a long weekend. We can sort that out closer to the time.
In this week's SUPERLEAGUE, just need scores from:
  • Salvo Mantalbano,
  • WILLIEA (two days - he's usually one of the most reliable ones),
  • DublinMagyar,
  • The_Kincardine (really need a copy of the Radio Times to know when he's likely to post his score)
  • LincolnHearts
  • The Captain
  • Sevesnape
Deadline of tomorrow late-morningish.
Already posted a 7 for Friday.

Well, all the scores are in for the SUPERLEAGUE, sponsored by, naturally, Tennent's SUPER. And what a SUPERLEAGUE it was because we have two teams tied in first place. So we'll have to have a play-off to decide who is the champion and who has to settle for a silver medal.

Looking at the league tables, the usual suspects have risen to the top as per. Eednud must be a bit aggrieved at getting pumped down to the lower league. As will WILLIEA, although not a score for 2 days will make even top quizzers struggle. Wastecoatwilly - at one point sitting in the Premiership, manages to cling on to middle league status. Poor old Ziggy gets the wooden spoon.

Anyway, it's a year's worth of Tennent's Super to Scotfree and AFJ, and two year's worth to Ziggy. Boom tish.

So this question is for @Audaces Fortuna Juvat and @scotfree only...

Middle-distance runner Andrew Baddeley holds the record for the world's fastest parkrun (5km). What was his time? (Just for reference, I got 24:00m last week at one, so it's a bit faster than that).

I'm guessing 13:26.

Luckily for you, Scotfree had already followed the correct protocol and PMed me his guess which was 14 minutes dead. The correct answer was 13m 48 seconds, so congratulations to Scotfree who is the champion and commiserations to AFJ who has to settle for 2nd, which is still better than Linfield have managed this season.
