I just remember what I remember and leave it at that. Good luck! I kinda agree with this. I like to do well at quizzes and I read stuff that I think might come up in quizzes, but at the same time, if the subject doesn't interest me, it's basically just a dry list of facts and I just can't be arsed. And top of that list of boring subjects is fecking superhero movies. They're all the bloody same (I'd imagine). Anyway, nine for today. Got everything right except the bloody single War which I realised as I clicked submit that I knew but by that point I'd already put a shite answer in there. Some lovely guesswork in there too.

One man's knowledge is another's ignorance. It's selective. I thought this was an 'easy' question but only because I've been bombarded with facts about a foreign nation's history all my life. The war of the roses had nothing to do with British history IMO, as being pre-Union it was only English history. How many GK questions do we see on Portuguese history, for example? Or Scottish history for that matter. eta apologies for wandering off on a tangent from the subject matter, i.e. the quiz. Won't happen again. It's just something to do to keep my brain occupied tbh. Some people to sudokus or crosswords, I try to memorise stuff. If you think that's sad I once memorised the order of all the black and white Dr Who stories. It beat working. Strangely that has yet to come up in a quiz. Now I don't even have to pretend to be working I have even more time on my hands. Edited April 29, 2020 by Bully Wee Villa
