Guardian Football nickname origin quiz

9/11, got the Sheff Wed and the Latin one wrong.

For number 10 it's currently saying more folk got it wrong than right, guessing vast majority are English.

10/11, piece of cake. ( Not that much of a piece of cake considering I got one wrong, the United one.)

It's time for the last Oz quiz of the week with 2 Oz questions. A typically crap 3/10 to close the week. Knew Brazil border, had an inkling of the furthest north country and guessed the surname. Don't know why I chose wrong answer for lexicon. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=3473&sectionId=1

5/10, knew 1 (Brazil), fairly sure of 2 (lexicon and northernmost point) and 2 inspired guesses (performers name and gold medals).

So, discounting yesterday and Wednesday, I've an average of 7.5 for the last 4 quizzes.

Not only a new week but a new month of quizzing ahead. 1 or 3 Aussie questions depending on how you want to interpret the. 4/10, would have been 6 if had followed my initial thoughts. Knew the tennis seed, who sang the song and who wrote the book. Guessed Yale. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=3483&sectionId=1
