Draw a square on a 2D sheet of paper. Now draw lines to make it appear to be a 3D cube even though it exists only on a 2D plane. You can theoretically do the same for a 3D cube, extending it into the 4th dimension. Problem is that we don't know if it exists and our brains can't comprehend where in space it goes. So we have a 2D or 3D model of a 4D object - the hypercube.

No idea, just take a guess at it, I left that sort of stuff behind 53 years ago...( and I doubt very much if I knew it then, either).
