Without mentioning guesses I could. If that's what you really want?

Oh, yeah I forgot that would give WRK an (unneeded) advantage

I can wait :)

Sorry if I appear tetchy ... I've just received not one but two job offers ... and I don't want either of them!

Still, if I beat Jagfox99 I'll be the very epitome of sunshine!

What are the two offers? Let Pie and Bovril decide for you

One is £5k more, stuffy company, work looks boring. Can work from home (sometimes).

The one with less money is probably more fun and friendlier, but also hee-haw holidays and an 8 hour working day.

Both same travel time.

Over to you!

Right gents now that the abomination that is Scotland rugby is over it's time for the tie breaks to be settled. The question was what is the official length of the Golden Gate Bridge taking into account the approaches from abutement to abutement. The guesses were as follows

Jagfox99 898m v 3456 Cardinal Richelieu
Whiterosekillie 2850m v 947m Peasy23

The answer taken from goldengatebridge.org is

Total length of Bridge including approaches from abutment to abutment is 1.7 miles (8,981 ft or 2,737 m).

So this means both Cardy and Whiterosekillie go through to the next round. Well played gents and unlucky to the losers.

If you can answer the unasked question then you're in.

I really don't know where I first heard it specifically, but it was as a child in Belfast. It wouldn't have been a common word, but it wasn't rare either. I was more a Hubba Bubba man anyway.
