Jamaldo
Contestant on Tipping Point asked what American state the city of Palo Alto is in. Her answer? Mexico.
ICTJohnboy
Just watching Pointless just now - quite enjoy the format and the banter between presenters Richard Osman and Alexander Armstrong, but why so many returning couples? Are they struggling to find contestants for this show?
19QOS19
It's always been the format. Each couple has two attempts to reach the final. If they reach the final on the first attempt they don't get to come back a second time though, even if they fail to find a Pointless answer.

He must have some agent.....half expected arsenal to bid £30 million for him.

GordonD
The BBC's Breakfast Time programme. It's supposed to be giving people a summary of the important news stories as they're getting ready for work. Instead we've just had an interview with the star of the Hyacinth Bouquet prequel followed by a feature on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, followed in turn by a feature on another upcoming series called The Great Orchestra Challenge. The whole thing has become a long advert for the BBC itself.

Unfortunately. Isnt that essentially a description of exactly what murica loves. Think hes probably in his ideal setting.

I'm a Valerie Singleton and Patrick Troughton man. (Now there's a piece of slash fiction I'd read...)

Tuned in at the gym the other day, hoping to watch the news, only to be subjected to 10 minutes of, essentially, adverts for the shite the BBC show at night. This, coupled with the 'banter' between the MOTD2 presenter and the bird that looks like He-man.
