Things that annoy or delight you on the telly right now

Ryan from The Office may be one of the most confusing sitcom characters ever. He is a totally arrogant dickhead of a man and comes across a horrible person. Yet any time he is giving a one on one The Office style, he's absolutely hilarious and almost always on the money with what he says. I really don't know if it's been intentionally written that he's a dick when being filmed in the group setting and he's 'acting' during his one on ones, but it's so good regardless.

Andy on the other hand is very annoying, even more so early on. But the more I watch, I'm not sure if it's the character that annoys me or Ed Helms's acting style. Think it may be the latter given he basically the exact same character in Vacation.

I was surprised that he didn't get more grief for the Indian character on TBBT who constantly slags off India, and is generally one of the most unappealing sitcom characters I can think of.

Virtually all of the characters straddle the line between annoying and funny. If you watch the first season, they really fucked up with Michael Scott and he just comes across as a p***k. It's one of those shows that has the subtext of people being forced together that don't really get on, but over time come to care about each other.

Catherine fucking bloody Tate is exempt from all of that, as she's incapable of being anything other than a screaming nightmare that nobody can wake up from.

Probably because was only ever the 4th most objectionable regular character in that at any one time.

Impressive, considering there were only five of them at the beginning.

I've been watching Bones on Disney+ and I'm very much enjoying it. I've reached season 4 and I'm finding it easier and easier to binge as it goes on.

Great series. It was a bit of a culture shock for me when I started watching Buffy: The Vampire Slayer last year (I'd never seen it before) and it had a very young Booth as the male lead.

I'm working the other way about, so I'm enjoying the more comic side to Boreanaz, which didn't come out enough in Buffy and Angel. When it did come out, he was always great.

That genuinely looks like a joke trailer. Add in some 'commentary' from Matt Stone and it could be in episode of South Park.

Released in April 1st apparently. Getting folk seething about it then saying it's an April Fools IMO.

If not, holy shit.

My old man got a box set of that for Christmas one year, and went off on one about how they don't make proper telly like that anymore.

Always find it strange that Love thy Neighbour is remembered as THE example of how casual racism used to be mainstream, while this abomination largely gets forgotten.

Mind you, one of the gems of my porn collection was a Mayfair featuring Francoise Pascal and Anna Bergman. [emoji7]

You know the P&B rules...

Apologies, it was remiss of me..

The lovely Francoise...

..and the extremely clothing-averse Miss Bergman. Seriously, I have tried to keep within decency rules here, but google her and you'll soon see my problem.

Didn't expect you to actually post them! Not complaining, mind, though when you said "a Mayfair featuring Francoise Pascal and Anna Bergman" I thought you meant together...

Now that would have been the Holy Grail of jazz mags!

(Yes, youngsters, these ladies used to appear in bundles of coloured paper, often found in hedges..)

As I've said before, you used to find jazz mags in bushes. Now you don't even find bushes in jazz mags.
