realmadrid
Tottenham have had to start work inside the existing stadium as part of the new development behind the ground taking out the North East corner for foundations work.

ham89
Is the athletics track staying? It is indeed. There is going to be movable seats in the bottom tier to slide over the track. Of course, this means from the back of the bottom tier to the front of the upper tier is a 50ft flat area of nothingness. Utterly stupid.

Temporary seating above the void perhaps?
jamamafegan
The Olympic Park it's going to be utterly shite. They will soon realise. Going to forever be a wee bit sad I never managed to sample the atmosphere inside WHL before they started tearing it apart.
Waspy
Atletico's new ground w9.jpg This is taking an eternity to be completed. You can see it from the airport and looks pretty impressive from the outside.
Ross.
FC Aarau finally got building permission for their new ground, having struggled for the last decade to get planning permission for anything put forward. 10k capacity is around the same as the existing stadium at Brügglifield but the facilities will be a tad more modern. Will be sad to see them leave the current place when it happens as it is a real throwback of a ground and one I enjoy watching games in. Big positive on the new place is the fact it is a 5 minute walk from the town centre and 2 minutes from the main train station.

Much better way of thinking, unlike Scots who want to put stadiums as far away from city centres as possible.

Not sure how much of that was by choice or by accident, as the site is a disused industrial estate that will require a hell of a lot of work. Whatever the case it's a good location for the fans to get to.
Falcor Roar
Much better way of thinking, unlike Scots who want to put stadiums as far away from city centres as possible. How many teams have their ground outside the town in Scotland? I can only think of Falkirk, St. Johnstone and soon Aberdeen.
