Redwedge77
Another good signing. As we come into run in injuries and suspension are going to be a major factor. Our defeat on Saturday when we lost two key players the options were limited especially around central midfield. Both JR andSH where superb but we they run out of gas last 15 minutes. I personally would like us to get another holding midfielder for cover/ centre back.
KierenAAFC
Agree with Redwedge about another option there... what’s Gaz Fleming up to? [emoji848]

Blue White Dynamite
A little bit of Jack when he was on loan at Penicuik last season.
KierenAAFC
A quiet deadline day for us - that’s it all done. What we rating the window?Getting the extensions of the key loanees probably our best bit of business imo. Kirkpatrick coming back on a 18-month deal also a great piece of business. Like last season will take him time to hit the ground running but once he does, no doubt will be key. Hamilton seems a good option too according to reports and works out for all parties with it also paving the way for Greig to move on and get games. Aitchison definitely has a point to prove after an unsuccessful spell at Dumbarton (to be fair, they all seem to be struggling down there). If he can have even have a percentage of the impact Hastie had then that’ll do. I do think we could’ve done with one more signing to top it off. A defensive minded cover would have been good. Especially if Zak gets his move away today, even though he doesn’t play that’s one defender less for training, squads etc. Still plenty options with Robbo, Taggs, Dick and Stevie moving all across back four. Anyways, big month ahead as Jim says. Let’s hope the new boys can hit the ground running with the run of vital home games!

Good few loan signings and keeping Dario and Roscoe was a great bit of business. Interested to see how Aloulou gets on at Berwick as always felt he had something to offer but was never really given a shot. Next 3 games are absolutely huge, think we should be aiming to get at least 6 points out of 9 to try and extend our lead over Falkirk and Partick, and hopefully drag Dunfermline and Morton closer to the bottom.

wellboy1991
Motherwell fan in peace. Just to thank you guys for how you looked after Jake Hastie. He has been exceptional since his return. He playing wide right in a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3. 3 goals and an assist since his return. Great lad with a huge future.

Nice to see him being used and successful , jake was really good for us and when he was recalled we were disappointed, wondered if it was too early but not so and wish him all the best. great lad and excellent attitude..

printer
He'll have a good career providing Motherwell don't flog him to the first diddy team that flashes them money. He needs to play another few years of solid football, not disappear into someones reserve team. Thanks for those pearls of wisdom, m8.
KierenAAFC
Coming on here to have my say about Alloa today. So, so frustrating! First half I thought we were good on the ball and looked comfortable in the game. The goals a gift. Slack defending and too easy - Robbo had been told by Goodwin no more than five minutes prior to get tighter and side on to his man. As great a footballer and battler Robbo is and Dick’s mistakes the past few weeks, don’t think the switch worked. Caught out a few times. Our goal was a great passage of play from Robbo and Dario especially. Neat finish and run too. Second half we come out so poorly. Another poorly defended goal and our heads seemed down after that. Not really in the second half at all. Ok - we’re not getting the breaks but we do make things hard for ourselves with needless gifts! Bigger picture - still in a good position. However, need some confidence back and more solidity at the back. Liam Dick back in next week and Kevin Cawley too. Think Kirky needs to drop out, off the pace today.

Sheepy
I think putting Kirky In has disturbed what we had in the midfield, not as defensively switched on as Robbo or stevie H with robbo playing left back and kirky left side of the midfield it leaves us defensively open there and that’s where the 2 Falkirk goals came from.
