Dons_1988 Posted January 31, 2019 Share Posted January 31, 2019 It's very obvious that the club see Mckenna as part of the stadium funding and are marketing him as such. I think our issues with defensive cover so far this season will mean we'll hold off until the summer on Mckenna, hence working on the likes of Shaughnessy now. Don’t think that Pawlett was undervalued by Aberdeen. He was offered a new contract but turned it down and left. When he left us, he had gone back to his bad old days of being extremely inconsistent. Really, Pawlett only had one great season with us, when we won the League Cup, and in all other seasons he was more of a squad player.
