Jayden Richardson is a weak link in the team but the overreactions to some of his poor performances at times have been hysterical

I can’t recall anything he did wrong the other night

I’m sure most Fanbases are the same but once a scapegoat is identified early on, it’s usually difficult to change that perception

Having said that I want the following recruits in January at least:

1 x RB

1 x CH

1 x Striker

Jack Gurr was absolutely pish though

We don't need another striker. Miovski, Duk and even Ramirez as a third choice striker is as good as it gets outside the OF.

I'd argue we need two new centre backs and a right back. We could do with adding height in the middle of the park and in defence. We are a soft side that lacks height.

Edit: Ramirez can leave. Replace him with Bavidge.

Agree.

Right back, centre half & a centre mid.

We’re too soft when things aren’t going our way & too easy to score against.

Offload a few wide players.
Morris, Watkins, Kennedy. Two from three of those.

We still have Hayes, Duncan, Besuijen & one of the three above (probably keep Kennedy of the three)

Is that Roberts boy not a winger too? Morris needs a loan.

Our first against Hibs came from Richardson's good work.

Forgot all about him.

Just strengthens my view we need to offload at least two

Will be interesting to see what we do when Roberts is back. You'd have to think he doesn't fit the new system, just like Morris.

3-5-2 doesn’t suit Besuijen, Duncan, Morris, Roberts, arguably Kennedy.

Hayes is the only wide player comfortable as a wing back.

He’s built a squad around a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 and the 3-5-2 negates those players.

Two up front is good as it gets Duk & Miovski in though

Think it was JJ Bull who said the new system is good because it's gets all of the better players in. Problem (like you've highlighted) is the lack of good wing backs.

2 points clear in third, 4 clear of Hearts and 5 clear of Hibs. Good day all round and given how poor we are away from home, good place to be in going into the break. Particularly after the damage Glass and the last 2-3 McInnes seasons had on the playing pool.

Sort the away form out and this could be a very good season. Kudos to Goodwin on that.

May be nonsense, but talk of juventus interest in Lewis Ferguson. Not sure what sell on percentage we would have?

Watched bits of an interview with him the other day.

Spoke well of his time here. Said he was gutted to leave even though it was the right time.
