Blackpool were utter pish in the Championship and he was only there half the season. Im pretty sure Blackburn fans told us Clarkson was shite. You don't play 20 games for Liverpool first team at the age he was then and not have something about you. Sometimes players just don't fit in at clubs for whatever reason. As you mention the likes of MacDonald was getting slated from Swindon fans.
