AberDon
I rate Considine very highly, he's actually fairly quick for a centre back, and can pass the ball well. I'd be sad to see him go (which is miles from being certain) but we need a full back.

Guest
Over 8,000 season tickets sold so far, pretty decent going if true. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27668091
Drooper
I think he has passed that nonsense tbh. I am loving his celebration after he scores goals, the shocked face and the hand over the mouth. Brilliant way to give it back after taking a power of abuse. The sumo celebration at Pittodrie that he got booked for was utterly ludicrous. Good to see players giving a bit of stick back to the fans as well as doing the business on the pitch to back it up.
gazelle
New strip, 8000 season tickets sold already, 'six figure' sponsorship deal and three signings before the real transfers happen.
uni
Aberdeen Mad is hardly what you could call a credible source. New kit looks smashing and 8,000 season tickets sold does give a good vibe early doors. At the same time I've seen it all before and it could still go pear shaped but it doesnt look all that likely thankfully.
AberDon
Obviously you boys reading the Aberdeen mad forum or whatever it's called where some beaut actually claimed its a done deal fir shinnie and mackay goin to pittodrie for a combined fee of £150k. ma sides are killing me Both players are worth whatever their basic pay is for the remainder of their contract, if they move cross-border.

Within that number there are 800 new season ticket holders - people who have never bought before. We still have about 2,200 season ticket holders from last year who have not renewed yet so we are seriously hoping to get up to the 10,000 mark by the start of the SPFL season." From Yule's interview on RedTV. Very promising.

Can't be 2,200 folk giving up after we've just won the diddy cup last season.

Gaz FFC
Season ticket sales up on this time last year. A new sponsorship deal worth a lot more. 43,000 at a cup final 2 months back. That'll be that "Armageddon" I was hearing about. Well done Aberdeeen FC

I doubt the McKay thing but I trust my source who says Shinnie is done and dusted.

Well done Aberdeeen FC Season tickets aren't just above what they were at this point last season but higher than the total of last season, even with the late comers who bought for a final ticket etc So good signs, we will need to finish in top 3 again though to keep it going
AR851903
8,000 STs already is a great effort. Hopefully with a couple more signings and once the Europa League draw has happened we'll shift even more.
Jute
Hearing that Dons have offered a deal to Boyd and still looking to get in a left back and possibly another central midfielder.
Apache Don
Hearing that Dons have offered a deal to Boyd and still looking to get in a left back and possibly another central midfielder. Where are you hearing that? Karl Fletcher saying Shinnie a done deal. Haven't seen any reports on Shinnie or Boyd. ETA:- I'd take both in a heartbeat though. Granny Danger
Sounds like a fantastic sponsorship deal; seven figure sum over three years. I've no idea what ours is worth at United but I can't think it would be anywhere near that.
