Kyle
Marshall was our goalkeeper coach under Mcinnes. Can see it happening.
PudgieTheSheep
It's only someone to get them training properly. McInnes will give him guidelines and he'll let his coaching ability fill in the gaps I'd assume. Derek and Yule have had all of the other backroom appointments pap on so I assume this will be no different.

RussellAnderson
He was a good keeper in his day, hopefully a change will improve the keeper situation!

RussellAnderson
Good to see us back in the groove, even if it is just a friendly. Too many times we've lost to Peterhead or Cove and gone on to have shit seasons

All the best for Europa League campaign and Nxt season ! Fair enough! But can't be bad to win by that margin. See that Jack is the new captain. Noticed that Reynolds was poorer last season perhaps due to having the captains armband for so long. Similar to Severin who wilted when made captain. Hope it doesn't happen to Jack, don't think it will though, he's a terrier.

Back in Fergie's days we used to go to the continent pre season and play amateur teams regularly scoring eight or ten goals in a game on the basis that scoring became habit forming.

BucksburnDandy
Two interesting appointments. Marshall seems to have been a staff member McInnes trusted after working with him at St Johnstone. Indeed McInnes now has key members of his backroom staff that he trusts, and with the new contract appears in for the long haul. Ryan Jack being given the captaincy seems a reasonably sensible move. Mark Reynolds didn't seem to want the armband permanently and his form did somewhat dip with it last season. May be coincidental, but Jack has the right attributes to have the armband.
