jagfox
Time Mrs Budge was investing in some anti-aircraft missiles.Juanma wouldn't like that I also shouted at Nicholson when he worked some magic in the second half, 'see what you can do when you stay on his feet'. Gave a wry smile. <<< bitter* *not really. Hearts deserved the win despite Neilson's flyover inducing tactics in the second half Edited March 5, 2016 by jagfox99
Granny Danger
There is absolutely nothing wrong with criticising a club and it's manager, no matter what has happened before. There's a difference between being critical and spending the money to fly a plane over Tynecastle with a message on it though. No there's not, but some criticism is valid and some is not. Hearts are the third biggest team in the Premiership and are sitting comfortably in third in the league. They are out both the cups, but so are the second biggest club in thePremiership. In addition they were playing last season in the Championship; anything more than a rebuilding season this year was a victory and they have exceeded that by miles. Paying customers reserve the right to criticise, but there seems to be a group with wholly unrealistic expectations whose views in my opinion are invalid.

Seemed to be Rossi or Souttar - did I imagine that?

Elixir
I'd be interested to know how many times we've finished third or above in our history - some of our fans seem to think it should be a given. It should be the minimum expectation, tbh.
jagfox
Absolutely incredible stuff. I saw one of them as I got off the bus but didn't take a closer look. Utter plane hiring roaster on the prowl. Edited March 5, 2016 by jagfox99
Elixir
Were Thistle fans booing early doors? Seemed to be Rossi or Souttar - did I imagine that? They were booing Souttar in the first half. Think they thought he went over a bit too easily in one challenge. He was rock solid once again - what a signing he has been. It seems incredible that United fans were saying he couldn't play at centre back. Clearly, the lad had just lost his way following their slump over the past year or so.

craigkillie
Just to put things into perspective, Neilson has taken 53 points from his first 28 top flight matches in charge of Hearts. No other non-Old Firm manager in the SP(F)L era can match that. For the sake of comparison, McInnes took 51 points from his first 28 at Aberdeen, Calderwood got 45 at Aberdeen, Levein took 37 at Hearts, Laszlo got 48 and Paulo Sergio earned 41. Mowbray got 47 at Hibs (and 54 at Celtic).

I think this is a fairer comparison as our opponents are more or less of the same quality. I mean that the teams we are playing against now are all of a very low standard as opposed to those teams that the managers you mentioned had to compete against. Robbie is doing okay but we do seem to play within ourselves, we don't take risks, we are very conservative and patient in our approach to the game. Some fans are a little frustrated and think we have more to give, want more excitement and want to attack!

Mr Romanov
How's John boy doing? Haven't conceded a goal when he's started and has been our best player by a distance. So composed on the ball. Delighted with him.
