Auld Heid
With injuries piling up and trialists now having to be used then can only assume will be toiling to get a team for Monday's game at Sauchie,if they can get to the final of F&L when would that be played and is that usually played at Bathgate? Not 100% sure how bad the injuries are - but there certainly seems to be a situation where niggles and knocks aren't getting a chance to clear with the constant games. By all accounts Batchy picked up a sore one last night also. Ideally we should probably look to utilise trialists for both Wednesday and Saturday and that would give some a week to rest and recover. AlanCamelonfan
They played at boness last year and boness played linlithgow
Aggy Doo
Bo'ness won a toss up for it depending on who is in the final it could be a neutral park if there's a suitable ground between the two finalists
Sheep77
Its a big if but if its a BU v Rose final it won t be a toss off a coin this year where its played and its penciled in for the following sat
AlanCamelonfan
so in other words no-one knows. SUrely if Bo'ness and Hill o Beath get to East of Scotland final that will be on Saturday 6th. If camelon make it through we are supposedly got a league game against carnoustie away that day. Given that looks like it will be important it probably will have to be played that day

It would be unlikely but not unheard of if it meant getting both finals played promptly and on a Saturday. If we beat Sauchie next Monday in what will be our millionth game in 3 weeks and then don't have to play again for almost a fortnight there will be some explaining to do. We've got players out on their feet. Now that happens but was it really too much to schedule our semi final for next Wednesday rather than Monday? Yous could have beat boness last week and had a big schedule so they should chop and change games just to suit linlithgow. Didn't happen for us last year we played the games and dealt with it. AlanCamelonfan
Why should either LInlithgow or Camelon go all the way up their midweek. Thats really unreasonable the schedule be done with the fact that lithgy could have advanced in East of Scotland Cup. Hill o beath who you played last night played their last league game and have East of Scotland cup. Musselburgh can't play next mid week due to them having Junior Cup Final which I believe the rule is they aren't allowed to play the midweek before it. I'd hazard a guess if bo'ness are in the final it could happen either Saturday 6th, Wedneday 10th or Saturday 13th. As they may have both finals If Camelon are in it really would need to be Wednesday 10th or Saturday 13th. Sauchie and Rose have played all their other games and could play any date. Yous could have beat boness last week and had a big schedule so they should chop and change games just to suit linlithgow. Didn't happen for us last year we played the games and dealt with it. The fixture against Sauchie was released after we lost to Bo'ness. We already had all our games scheduled to finish the league. It makes no difference to anyone else apart from Sauchie and Linlithgow whether the game is played Monday or Wednesday of next week. You were there last season. If you'd played the volume of games we've played and then found a game pushed in within 2 days for absolutely no reason, would you not want to know why? The season can run to mid June and we'll play about 15 games in 4 weeks to ensure that we finish a fortnight ahead of the deadline for the season. I've no issue with a heavy schedule - but not just for the sake of it.

The schedule was issued after we went out the Eos cup. And the Carnoustie thing isn't about Linlithgow or Camelon. It's about the play offs. They are very big games but if Armadale drop into them they and Broughty will find themselves travelling midweek. Surely the play offs should be booked for a Saturday before rose or Camelon? AlanCamelonfan
you were quite prepared for Camelon or lithgy to go to Carnoustie which is further than Armadale to broughty. Both legs of play offs were played on Wednesdya nights last year

Both legs of play offs were played on Wednesdya nights last year I think Camelon or linlithgow should go to Carnoustie midweek rather than Armadale v Broughty midweek. If one or other of those sets of games needs to be midweek then it shouldn't be the play offs which are a much bigger deal. Playing them midweek last year only sets a precedent for playing them at the wrong time.
AlanCamelonfan
Tell Armadale that if we have to play a weakened team missing players through work or whatever and give Carnoustie an advantage. Thats not fair.
