gingerblastie Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 imho you should treat friendlies serious and get as much out of them as possible especially guys who havn't been playing regular...as for not giving 100 percent and not going in to challenges thats when you tend to get hurt most when your not fully committed...players should train/play friendlies the way they would treat a match with the exception of 'smashing' your own team mates in training...get in to good habits as bad habits stick like mud. Forde did well but starting without Craig or Barr is a nonsense and Boyd has done nothing so far IMO to be a starter,impact sub fine.There's always if buts and maybes BUT we are losing crucial games not winning them,never looked a deliberate handball but we created very little with no Craig no Mcginto until Barr came on.Too many changes of personell and formation forced or unforced all season to have any chance of consistency.
