P45
Lallana is 26. I thought he was maybe 21 the way he is heralded as a future England starlet. He's nae chance of making it a this level.

Jimbo Jagsfan
CR will want to finish as group winners to avoid Colombia in the next round. If the Italians hump Uruguay (however unlikely) then they will need at least a draw to make sure. A second-string CR cannot be any worse than the team Roy has put out, surely? Ira Gaines
Why on earth would Costa Rica put out a second string in a game which is still important?
Jimbo Jagsfan
Well, they might not make 9 changes, like Roy, but they will probably rest some players.
Ira Gaines
Why would they though? The game is still important. I'd imagine their only changes will be forced.

Scary Bear
I'm watching Wimbledon until kick off. That way I avoid the ITV brains trust.
jmothecat
That dour ITV bloke who reports from the England camp keeps going on about how much of a shock it is that England aren't going to qualify. Maybe I'm being dim here, but didn't pretty much everyone predict it would be Uruguay and Italy going through? The only shock here is how well Costa Rica have done.
