tarapoa
Two good seasons - one bad one Many managers would settle for that ratio.
jmothecat
So an above average manager, and a good analyst who is one of few in the media who isn't biased against Aberdeen. All round he gets a pass.
forkboy
They've just spent the first 15 minutes playing the Radio 5 interview with Joey Barton. And now obviously they have to talk about it, presumably for another 15 minutes. Can't even stop talking about him when he's gone for Christ's sake.
resk
Remember the BBC's minute-by-minute report on Barton's first league game in which he did basically f**k all in a 1-1 draw with Accies? What an embarrassment.
Daydream
He's Scottish footballing royalty, I hope you all remember to stand up when he speaks on the radio. As that is the law. I agree with this. Miller led his team to European glory, beating Real fucking Madrid in the process. Just let that sink in. Miller kens the score.
Scary Bear
So an above average manager, and a good analyst who is one of few in the media who isn't biased against Aberdeen. All round he gets a pass. Nope. He's terrible. Unless he's hugely improved in the last few weeks. He never seems to do much research on the subjects he's taking about.
vikingTON
They should get you on the show, everykunt would love to hear your views on the game. You have nothing worthwhile to contribute to this entire forum: jog on. Two good seasons - one bad one Many managers would settle for that ratio. If that were the case then he wouldn't have failed to get another credible manager's job and been forced to slither into a punditry role. Which he is also utterly shit at. Tuesday night's offering included a long, rambling, Old Yeller breakdown at Tom English over the Ian Cathro appointment, crowned by a screech about Ronnie Deila "attacking Scottish culture" by, erm, telling fat, plodding wasters like Scott Brown to stop eating chips with tomato ketchup all the time while attempting to be a professional athlete. Scotland as a whole is still undoubtedly reeling from that assault on a vital part of its 'culture'.

Whilst I'm not trying to sit here and advocate miller as some superstar football manager, I do believe he didn't particularly enjoy his experience as manager and as such hasn't pursued that career since.

Salvo Montalbano
Didn't Willie Miller once say something along the lines of "Why should I research the opposition? When have I got time to do that?" when doing summary duties on an Aberdeen European game? Jim Spence on the other hand is usually very good. It was a sad day when the BBC bowed to Sevconian pressure to get rid of him for regular appearances.
Ludo*1
Jim Spence is excellent and that's from a Dundee fan. He gets things wrong from time to time but he has a vast knowledge of Scottish football and encourages discussion with the points he raises.

RandomGuy.
Vast knowledge or just repeating what some bigots have blogged...... Bigots generally dont blog about football in Tayside... If you could look past your own hate for the man then you'd see why he's considered one of the better journalists.
