Premiership Attendance League Home and Away (predicted)

It will be close. Assuming we finish in different halves then Dundee have 2 home derbies, Aberdeen twice and Celtic twice.

Aberdeen and Celtic will likely be cancelled out by United finishing in the top half but after that it can go either way.

A few meaningful bottom half games (hopefully St Johnstone) could even put Dundee over.

It's a bit subjective though, depends how you define 'just'.

Love a crowd w**k.

What would be more fun would be to see what % of the stadium is filled, that's the best way to tell of a well run club...

Nah, the only true measure is average attendance in comparison to the population of the town that the stadium is located in.

Attendance/Population of town * % of stadium filled * proximity to old firm = Actual Attendance ;)

Couldn't give too craps about the attendances. Was just laughing my ass off that the OP felt the need to insert 'just' in some pathetic attempt to bum up Dundee. Why didn't he do it elsewhere?

The funniest thing I heard last year was a Dundee fan in my football team's dressing room before the game saying, "You DABs are the most deluded fans on the planet". Oh, how we chuckled.

No you wouldn't.

Killie have a bigger support than St Johnstone. We had a fucking boycott last year and stlll averaged more. Likes of hearts hibs Aberdeen and utd take far more to Perth than they do killie.

Think we've sold 3200 season tickets. Many have you sold?

Yeah I was winding you up, truth is theres only 400 between our average attendances, take out the Celtic games and its down to 200. With an extra derby or two thrown in, then who knows...

It was Fir Park actually was it not, when Someone was ground sharing?

Gretna @ Fir Park midweek, overall attendance was 501 with about 350 Utd fans, was re arranged 3 times that week, was our third visit to Fir Park already (having taking 1000+ to the first Gretna/Motherwell aways), was sandwiched in amongst the League Cup sf with Aberdeen and Scottish cup games with St Mirren and just before the Final

We did take 3500 to Fir Park in 2011 midweek though

Didn't United take something like 53 to Inverness one time a few years back?

Nah that was Dundee

Oh, you're now explaining why attendances were poor?

Dundee were given just over a weeks notice about Sheffield, on a Friday. United were playing on a Saturday. 1000 is still a great turn out, right enough.

Our support wasn't poor so no, the overall one was but to be expected with Gretna playing at Fir Park as a home venue on less than a days notice having been rearranged 3 times the same week, think it finally got played on the Thursday evening

It's dees that created the myth about them travelling in big numbers and us not (even the sheep shaggers bought into it), till they started going on about it there was never much debate about our clubs respective away supports, we have blown that myth to pieces though over the years, and you mention a Friday night, we packed out the fir hill main stand this time last year on a Friday night, it must hold 2500-3000

I'm almost certain there wasn't an attendance thread at all last season. We all preferred to talk about what happens on the pitch. They only appear when Dundee turn up for a season then go back to the second tier for a few years.
