I had this conversation with my mum the other day! Fuckin brilliant isn't it? I'm allergic to wasps, so I'm terrified of them :(

We had one in our living room about an hour ago. It was sprayed, and left to die a horrible death. :)

They were swarming in front of my in-laws' house yesterday, before beginning to make a nest in their next-door-neighbours' house. Hate them.

Edit to say: wasps that is, not bees. I don't mind bees cause they leave you alone unless you annoy them.

we've had loads of wasps this year - mainly in the "dining room" and mainly dead (woohoo)

But surely the real question is

who would win a fight between a bee and a wasp?

A wasp, cause quite simply if a bee used its sting it would die.

but that means that the wasp would attack wilynily but the bee would bid its time (tactics over sheer aggression)

Wasp, obviously ...

it has no arm for the swan to break

but could break its wing (I fancy the swan on the ground) in the air the wasp has the mobility and would be at a distinct advantage - the swan would need to get its arm-breaking special move in early on.

'mon th swan!
