Since McMullen not been picked tonight or even on the bench I think it’s pretty much odds on that he’ll be here this month

side note- can you believe the guy is 24?

if we can't get Mcmullen from the dab's this window we need to get more pace into the team. Has Mcpake said if he is trying to get players in during this window?
A new manager would be ideal but if he's still here after that embarrassment on saturday i fear we are stuck with the idiot for the rest of the season.
Cup tie shocks happen all the time. Look at Leeds being gubbed in the FA Cup last week.

The keeper had a monster game. On another night its 6-2 or along those lines.

It’s alright he looks better in dark blue it compliments his complexion...or something like that

Everything is as ugly as f**k in that dayglo mess of a strip. Vomit inducing.

Really hope he signs this month - or even week.

5 games on the bounce we’ve scored 3 goals. I’m pretty sure that’s a record in my 40 + years.

Aye, just a shade over 43 years since it last happened I believe. Can only wonder the last time we scored 3 or more goals in 6 consecutive games.

Think I've found it, 8th February 1964. Some absolute hammerings in a row, think we were a bit better back then:

4/1/1964 - Dundee 6-0 Third Lanark (Division One)
11/1/1964 - Forres Mechanics 3-6 Dundee (Scottish Cup)
18/1/1964 - East Stirlingshire 1-5 Dundee (Division One)
25/1/1964 - Brechin City 2-9 Dundee (Scottish Cup)
1/2/1964 - Dundee 6-2 Queen of the South (Division One)
8/2/1964 - Dundee 6-1 Forfar Athletic (Scottish Cup)

38 goals in 6 games. Many seasons we’ve scored less in the whole campaign.

5 games with 3 goals and we don’t have a decent goalscorer. Next 3 games look distinctly winnable with our new found confidence.

First I’ve heard of it. As you say a brilliant start. Looking back through the squads - so many players I’ve forgotten. Completely forgot the Finnish guy - rhymes with pyjamas.

Think that was the season we got to the cup final against Rangers, the "Slater final".

Alan Gilzean scored 12 of the goals but 8/2 was a league game away to Motherwell 2-2. The cup tie against the Loons was on 15/2. We then defeated Hibs 3-0, Dunfermline (a) 2-1 and on 29/2 St Mirren 9-2 before a 2-2 draw in the Cup QF at home to Motherwell in front of 30,443 then winning the replay on the Wednesday 4-2. Remember staying up late as highlights were shown on Scotsport.

That makes sense, as other databases have the Cup game vs Forfar on the 15th. https://www.londonhearts.com/scores/sc/1963-64.html

Thank you, gonna continue looking for the real last time then!

Found another 5 in a row from Oct/Nov 1959, but it wasn't until 1947, the first proper season after the War stoppage, when Dundee finished their second ever stint in the 2nd tier in dominant style. Lost the Scottish Cup QF 1-2 to Aberdeen on March 29th, but the previous 2 league games went as follows:

8/3/1947 - Alloa Athletic 0-10 Dundee
22/3/1947 - Dundee 10-0 Dunfermline Athletic

After losing to Aberdeen, Dundee would score at least 3 goals in the last 7 games of the season, though it includes 4 Forfarshire Cup matches from 2 different tournaments, so idk if that 100% counts but I'm going off of all competitions:

5/4/1947 - Dundee 4-0 Dumbarton (League)
16/4/1947 - Dundee 6-1 Forfar Athletic (45/46 Forfarshire Cup Final)
19/4/1947 - Montrose 5-6 Dundee (46/47 Forfarshire Cup 1st Rnd)
23/4/1947 - Dundee 5-2 Raith Rovers (League)
3/5/1947 - Dundee 6-2 Ayr United (League)
14/5/1947 - Arbroath 3-4 Dundee (46/47 Forfarshire Cup SF)
17/5/1947 - Dundee 5-0 Dundee United (46/47 Forfarshire Cup Final)
