Dee Man
I've got a piece of Dundee memorabilia that's probably a one-off. It's a newspaper from Tirana the morning after we'd pumped that Albanian mob with Georgi Nemsadze on the front cover with an undecipherable write up on the game except I understood that Dandi is Albanian for Dundee. I'll give whoever wants it for a grand.
DEEJANGO
Thomson in for McBride on Saturday hopefully. Centre of midfield was poor against Accies. McAllister needs to up his game too.The sooner Dyer is back the better also. Apart from that, same team as Saturday at Killie and we have enough to get something. I thought McBride was decent on Saturday and against Motherwell and agree McAlister needs to up his game, loses the ball too much by either playing a bad pass or getting caught trying to do a fancy turn. In saying that I would definitely prefer Thomson in the team for McBride and McAlister on his game is a cracking player. Irivne has put in some great saving tackles for us since being put in at left back but when he gets the ball in space he looks shaky when someone is running at him whilst he is taking about 12 touches to get it onto his right foot to hoof it up the pitch, cant fault him too much though as he has done pretty well. I think our best team with everyone fit would be- Bain McGinn Konrad McPake Dyer Ferry Thomson Harkins McGowan Stewart Clarkson Subs- Peaso,Boyle,McAlister,Kerr,Letheren,Wighton,Roberts.
PhoenixOfTheAshes
Should boyle be given a start after playing well and causing problems when he came on sat or is he more effective coming off benchI see Boyle as an impact sub. A very useful one at that. For him to start it would probably mean dropping McGowan back into centre mid as on Saturday, which is a decent option. Irvine has not been a disaster, but he slows everything down and is just very average. I still reckon Tankulic has something to give.We have a great run of fixtures until Christmas i think we may be near top six for New year. As for McBride he's a bang average player, and was ineffective on Saturday. Edited October 27, 2014 by PhoenixOfTheAshes

You clearly haven't heard that McGowan and Harkins can't play in the same side.
PhoenixOfTheAshes
You clearly haven't heard that McGowan and Harkins can't play in the same side. The worst of Radfords anger issue was getting rid of the Dundee FC thread and all the comments from pre season contained in it.
DEEJANGO
I still reckon Tankulic has something to give. I would like to think that too but honestly can't see him starting for us again. I watched him on Tuesday night against Accies in the development league and he struggled against a very young defender. If he does come good he will need to impress coming off the bench when he gets his chance, if he gets his chance. Peaso and Wighton would be more likely to get the nod ahead of him.
PhoenixOfTheAshes
Lexys season of shite Pre Killie: Harkins wasn't over weight when he was with us. Indeed he looked impressive physically. His problems were just that he was lazy, unfit and shite. The reason Harkins has achieved the square root of nothing in his career approaching his 30th birthday is because he is a lazy waster. Danny lost his job because of players like Harkins, his signings were the reason we underachieved. Still finished 8th though, higher than Dundee have for how many years? Oh the season before we won a title. You think you'll ever see Dundee achieve such things? Post County: Dundee fans will be more than familiar with their inevitable relegation battle. I'm surprised that they're surprised. Post Aberdeen: Hope Dundee have enjoyed their Honeymoon period Pre season: NDD you're embarrassing yourself Goodwin >>>>>>>>> McPake This from the fan of a team that signed James McPake. Pre Mirren v Dundee So if you do lose... Will you retire for good this time? According to you it's not going to happen anyway... So put your forum membership where your mouth is ou leave Dundee FC threads if we win. I'll retire until the next Dundee v St Mirren game. A draw and nothing happens except Tommy takes a step closer to the sack Lexy shat it unlike Danger man. He's also a pussy aswell as clueless on football matters. The shitebag is now posted missing. To be continued.
chomp my root
Should boyle be given a start after playing well and causing problems when he came on sat or is he more effective coming off bench I think Boyle should be getting a start against some of the teams, his pace can be a real asset but hey, PH hasn't really got much wrong so I bow to his superior knowledge.
PhoenixOfTheAshes
Also me on Billy Mckay ( One goal so far this season - defensive error) He misses sitter after sitter. Minus penalties and defensive collapses and you see he's a bog standard striker. He'll score no more than 8 this year.. Replies Thankfully we will only have one season of their pish before they go back to obscurity. No it isn't. He's a 20 goal a season kind of a guy. You can't do that if your finishing is poor. It's also a 20 goal a season striker more than most of the bottom six have, including Dundee. Is he the guy that used to play for Livingston and Hibs? He was fucking waash. (McPake) I was going to ask how many times you'd actually seen McKay in the flesh, then I remembered who you supported and what league you've spent the majority of the last three seasons in. I'll stop posting if Tankulic and Mckay both have full seasons and Tankulic scores more. I don't care what happens. However, I know for a fact and from experience of seeing him on a good few occasions, that every club in Scotland - Celtic aside - would love to have someone like MacKay as he'd stroll into their first XI. To be fair to you, with Dundee naturally filling the relegation spot, this is the best insult you could probably hope for. Might just f**k of the now if this is what passes as an opinion. Billy McKay will probably score more goals this season than Dundee do. The Scarf, StandFree03, Lexy and many more you are taking on hell of a beating. AberdeenBud
Hands up. I laughed when you said McKay would struggle this season. But tbf you also claimed "the tank" would outscore him, so it's hardly a resounding win for you at this stage, NDD.

Cowden til i die
His team are joint top of the league? If you think McKay is failing you don't really know much about football.
tripc0de
Should boyle be given a start after playing well and causing problems when he came on sat or is he more effective coming off bench I think both Roberts and Boyle are impact subs...
DeeTillEhDeh
I think McBride did what he had to on Saturday - one chance to Curier and a half chance to Andreu was all they really created. McBride basically had to sit in front of the defence and stop/slow down their attacks - I think he did that pretty effectively. The substitution happened at the right time - Accies were going nowhere and had run out of ideas. Boyle helped create more width and space when he came on - but I don't think he'd have had the same impact starting or coming on earlier - McBride played his part in taking the wind out of Accies sails.
