Does seem fair to give a referee a Kilmarnock game after his Dad played 475 times for them. We Kilmarnock fans have moaned for a while that McLean doesn't give us anything as we think he is trying to look too fair and as a result we got the poor end of the decisions. However thats not twice in a year that he's given us really cheap penalties. With everything Scottish football related you wonder if the authorities are just trying to make life harder than it needs to be. I saw someone commenting on our own forum that if, for example, Danny McGrain had a son and he was a referee you just wouldn't get him involved in any Celtic (or Sevco) games at all. I meant 10th not 9th, with St Mirren and Hamilton below us. Was probably in our top 2 or 3 performers today but gets the hook whilst Nabi and Elton who are/were complete passengers again today.
