RandomGuy.
Yer man Shankland "on the verge" of signing for Swansea. Have to wonder what would've happened if you'd sold Caulker to Rosenborg and used the money to sign him and Stewart.

Fair enough Caulker never wanted to go because he'd have been majorly found out, that's if we believe there was a bid in the first place of course. What was stopping them using the other cash, from the Celtic haddy? Surely they never spunked that on this abomination of a football team and Caulker?

You're actually sitting in Perth on a Sunday wondering about a team you don't even support and what could've happened if they sold a player. Think about that for a second. Lose this and we are 11 points behind Hamilton, if that happens it's a two donkey race between Dundee and St Mirren for the play-off spot at best.

He's expected to give the manager funds in the January transfer window to bring in new faces as well as moving on a few current players. The war chest to be opened again. Our season can start in January. Yeah with McIntyre in charge of the treasury though. MacGregor gave him a blank checkbook two years ago and they were on par with us when we had Hemmings and Stewart. But they too were a two horse team and the second Irvine and Boyce left they died. He needs to sign quality but don't think he knows were to find it. Still a better manager than Mccant though. Who knows. Maybe Keyes will be doing some signings of his own to do with the stadium.

He took over County in very similar circumstances and did make a few solid January signings which got them through the season and put them on their way to recovery. Longer term, he struggled a bit with squad balance but he made a few decent signings in his first couple of windows.

There’s some truth in what you say, but for County to finish below Partick last season was unforgivable, and entirely McIntyre’s fault.

Fifespud
The problem with the January window is who is or isn’t available. Then if we are being honest it’s not everybody that would be prepared to go to Dingwall. Dundee is no doubt bad enough but to someone from England Ross County must seem like the edge of the known world. I’m quietly impressed with Jim’s performance so far.

The problem will be convincing half decent players to move to a team at the bottom of the league and looking doomed. You end up with guys who don’t really give a f**k apart from the money like dundee utd did when they were relegated
RandomGuy.
McIntyres first January wasn't even that good was it? Curran and Fraser the only ones he signed who played regularly. Boyce and Irvine were already there.

Dindeleux
By my calculations we are now into the fifth month of the league campaign and Dundee have only 5 points.1 point a month on average if I’m not mistaken.
