Listen, I don't care if he's a DAB or whatever. He HAS to be better than that shitpile Inniss, less of a fucking bombscare than the General (who I still don't have it in me to hate), less injury prone than Davies, and not as mediocre as O'Dea. I refuse to believe he can possibly make this tragic defense situation worse, and thus will welcome him with open arms if he chooses to come. Then I will customarily tell him to f**k off in 2 weeks when he inevitably nutmegs Dieng to score an own goal in the 97th minute. But until then, I will back this potential move wholeheartedly and I have no time for people going 'but DAB'. Some things - hell, most things - are more important, and survival is the top one. Sorting out that defense is paramount.

Pretty sure McGowan is a right back.

Surely we can't be having 3 right backs. I'm well aware he is primarily a RB but this move has to involve him moving to CB. It's not as if he's not flexible in switching positions.

Our match v Celitc has been moved so it can be shown on sky.

Now the whole of the UK can watch us get pumped in their very own homes.

He’s a right back tho. Don’t want a right back playing centrehalf.

Just noticed you’ve already commented on it.

I refer you to this.

He's predominately a centre back now. He still covers full back and defensive midfield but he's been a centre back for every team since United.

You can refer all you like, he’s a right back and never a centrehalf.

Sooooo... despite playing CB for years.... he's not worthy of being a CB? Even in the squad we have? Huh. Don't get me on the referencing trail, but I will if needs be.

Where has he played all his days in Scottish football? I take it you followed his career when he left Yenited to go to China or wherever it was then read about his performances for relegation threatened Bradford this season?

Whats McGowan like as a player? Anything in particular sticks out to you?
