That's a bit of a kick in the stones for us. We'd only have a slim chance to win the league with Hearts in it and they've went and appointed the Championship specialist.

No worries, Hearts will be booted down to the Lowland League by the start of the season.

Either that or -20 points deduction. I'll take either 😉

We were never winning it without a change of our own manager tbh. We'll finish in a playoff spot at best.

Hopefully get some young quick players in this summer when everything goes back to normal (can't see it happening soon but)

Anyone else worried about our lack of CBs, Wingers, strikers and midfielders with pace ?[emoji28][emoji28]

Happy with our central midfield provided Gowser signs on. Happy with Hemmings up top with Nelson as back-up.

We need a goalkeeper, 1 CH, 1 winger & a back-up striker.

I would like us to do all we could to sign Berra for a season, but with Hearts in the Championship and with Neilson in charge, I can't see it.

Could probably pick up a few bargains just now but it all depends on the insurance outcome, I guess.

He's still to be our manager - The cycle insists on it!

All joking a side, hope he makes a full recovery. A man that's done a hell of a lot for this club and just in general an all round good guy!

Someone on TDB forum posted the that we are hoping to get Hazard back but it depends on the whole Forster/Gordon situation unfolding as they want 3 keepers, we're in advanced talks with a striker (Please don't be Murray) and that a top flight club is close to signing one of our midfielders that aren't Dorrans or McGowan.

Said guy is susp AF if you ask me, says he's an ex-player who is mates with a current Dee. Said we were trying to sign Tony Watt like 3 days after he signed an extension with Motherwell.

Ah, that's disappointing!

Don't spend much time on that forum to filter the rubbish.

On the BBC website today:

Top players never to win a Scotland cap - there's a profile of Sir Bobby Cox and a few former Dees in the "also worth a mention category" - Duffy, Duncan & Charnley(!). No mention of Seith, Wishart, Cousin, Wallace etc. Any other glaring omissions??

Sorry to butt in, but the omission with the most glaring glaringness has to be Kevin McAllister!
