Why the Yes campaign won't go away

It's simply physics, really,

The law of conservation of energy:

https://www.princeton.edu/~achaney/tmve/wiki100k/docs/Conservation_of_energy.html

It states that the total amount of energy in an isolated system remains constant over time (is said to be conserved over time). A consequence of this law is that energy can neither be created nor destroyed: it can only be transformed from one state to another. The only thing that can happen to energy in a closed system is that it can change form: for instance chemical energy can become kinetic energy.

So you see, we may not have won the referendum, but we've transformed our energy into moving Scotland forward and ending Labour in Scotland.

In short, don't blame us, blame the universe.

Isaac Newton developed many of the principles involved in modern physics. Isaac Newton wasn't a Scot; he was an Englishman. We're better together.

Newtonian Physics makes sense in everyday life. If you want the bigger, accurate picture, you look to Einstein. A German.
