Anyway, we have a family here at the moment from Canada, the mother is called, good old fashion Rachel (I've seen her passport), but insists that her name should be spelt Rachelle and pronounced Rash ellie. You get lots of Bradens, Brodys etc. Then you get the names that sound as if the parents misheard someone else's name and thought "Hey that's a good one! We'll use that!" Kaden. Kalen, Kalim. It's like a game of Chinese Whispers used to name a baby. SlipperyP's "Rach-elle" We get the same sort of thing going with Elean-orrr too.
