Big Fifer Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Officially now buzzing for Friday. Yup. I'm a combination of excited and an absolute bag of nerves for this one. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
paul-r-cfc Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 With parkhead they generally call any section that has some poled blocking a few seats 'restricted view' and unless you're in the minority of folk right in line with pillars it's generally a great view all the way round bar the usual issue with seats right in the front row. Best places I've ever sat in there have been right up the back of the top tier and I've pretty much sag everywhere at one point or another 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheScarf Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Any parking tips? Always check your mirrors. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dunning1874 Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Yeah think the seats right behind the goals would be shite. Cheers for that though looks great, roll on Friday. They are, I was pretty much right behind the goal when Morton were there and you couldn't really make out what was going on at the other end. Cracking view if you're higher up though. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
craigkillie Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Phil Bardsley out of the squad with injury and has been replaced by Callum Paterson. I quite like Paterson as a player, but I reckon Ziggy Gordon might have been a better shout. Perhaps the fact that he's had a couple of poor performances in the last fortnight has counted against him. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not that it should be a bigger consideration than performances at club level, but Paterson having played fairly often for the under-21s might have influenced the decision too. Although it's mental that a player of Gordon's quality has never been in the under-21s. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Big Fifer Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Another case of WGS getting a younger lad in with the squad, pretty certain that it will be Whittaker right back and A-Rob left back now. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah not really much other option now. Perhaps whittaker will be less if a bomb scare on his stronger side, don't think he's ever really played there for Scotland with Hutton being a near ever present on the right 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AberDon Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Surely to f**k Graeme Shinnie is ahead of whoever the f**k Callum Patterson is. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
the jambo-rocker Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Surely to f**k Graeme Shinnie is ahead of whoever the f**k Callum Patterson is. Graeme Shinnie isn't a right back m8. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
accies1874 Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Yip, Ziggy's been poor the last couple of matches but Paterson was suspended for Hearts's last match and got sent off for a ridiculous challenge the last time he played. Sadly, I cant see Ziggy ever playing for Scotland. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The squad could certainly do with another left-back - I'm not sure having 4 players who can play there is quite enough. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lyle Lanley Posted November 10, 2014 Author Share Posted November 10, 2014 Paterson is a decent player but seriously? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 whoever the f**k Callum Patterson is. Not a big football fan? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Reid Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Paterson is a decent player but seriously? Well, who else would they call up? It's between Paterson and Gordon, imo. He won't play unless there's about 4 or 5 injuries in defence as Whittaker and Martin will be preferred. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Can see Whittaker at RB on Friday. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
But youre right though, its another MacLeod, doubt he will actually play. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JockysJetpack Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Seems a shame that a player of Gary Irvine's talent is left out whilst Calum Paterson gets the nod 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Big Fifer Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 If anything, this call up shows just how poor our options are at the back out with our favoured 6/7 players. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FuzzyBear Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 Absolute joke that Paterson is in before Gordon. We all know that Paterson - or Gordon for that matter - will not play but surely we should be selecting someone who has been playing very well in the top league rather that someone who has been decidedly average in the 2nd tier. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
