welshbairn
Haven't seen the film before but the music seems a bit disconnected in bits. Enjoying it, but the idea that a couple of Radio 1 bods can instantly out do film soundtrack pros is doubtful.
Lichtie78
The soundtrack to this film is amazing, not sure so far. Ryan gosling is a hunk
WeAreElgin
This will only work if they've got the chuckle brothers and tinchy Stryder on board
pub car king
You can flick berween the 2 and although the new tracks are ok they are a bit samey and just pale in comparison to the original which is a beast of a soundtrack
Zetterlund
I've not seen the film but am intrigued so far. Didn't realise there was a choice of soundtrack - I've switched to the original since it comes so highly recommended. Also Radio 1 in general is mostly dreadful. The opening scene sounded good though tbf.
Mr Romanov
It's been all downhill since chvrches opener. Just feels like random tracks chucked in without thought. Some nice wee tunes that'll make Zane Lowe a few quid when he releases it, but it doesn't work very well.
Bonksy+HisChristianParade
I'm thoroughly enjoying this so far. Chvrches track is class.
yoda
It's a bit shit, this new score. Not working for me at all.
welshbairn
This film isn't going to be about a guy racing in circles around US tracks is it? I was hoping for more getaway stuff.
Lichtie78
I've switched to the original, real human being is an absolute tune
yoda
"Under Your Spell" is a real highlight from the original soundtrack. I might be more annoyed by its absence than College & Electric Youth being replaced.
itzdrk
Tbh im just watching the film. Music making zero difference
welshbairn
Dreadful bit of sound editing there when he left his room. It's like a student project. Going to have to watch it all again with the original.
Guest
This is awful. The music in the first scene was way too overpowering, instead of building the tension like the oroginal beat it drowned everything out and felt like a music video. Then the Chvrches bit which was good followed by Alan Partridge shrugs galore. Drive is a good film but it's slow paced, but the original soundtrack added punch to it. This is like Lowe is trying to make it as boring as possible.
JamboMikey
Zane Lowe is a talentless fandan.

paranoid android
I have never seen the film, I'm not watching it tonight, and I have very little idea as to who Zane Low is. Even so, I find the idea of some fucking DJ remaking a movie by changing the soundtrack utterly disgusting.
Guest
That lift scene is gantin every single time. Almost as gantin as this amateur fanboy Drive tribute by Zane Lowe.

DA Baracus
Is it because he's enthusiastic that you all hate Zane Lowe? Is he not cynical enough for the sneering cool crowd? What a bitter bunch of fandans. It's not enough to say you don't like it; you have to spout utter pish. It's clear most of you have no idea what the whole thing was about. Obviously the revised soundtrack was never going to compete with the original, as the original was utterly exceptional. The revised soundtrack wasn't trying to compete with it. Anyway, there have been a few good tunes but overall it's been no better than alright. But the artists involved loved it and found inspiration from the project and the director of the film himself said the project was 'excellent'. That's what it was all about; using inspiration to create new music, and in that respect it worked. Oh and this was a one off showing. Hardly a money maker.
