It's a good wee moaning point but nothing can be done with the wind. Teams just need to roll their socks up and get on with it. It's always been the case with this away trip. Does anyone know who called the game off? Was it a local referee or the actual ref who was assigned to the game?

Roll your socks up and get on with what, the ball would be out the park for 90% of the game, when the wind gets ridiculous at Gayfield it's like trying to play football with a balloon, totally pointless

No wonder Rovers didn't turn up. According to the badges displayed behind the pundits on Sportscene tonight, they were at home to Rangers at Recreation Park

I noticed that. Pathetic BBC - all wee teams beginning with "A" = the same.

the Lada broke down just north of the Clackmannanshire Bridge en-route to Gayfield. It was an omen. Should have diverted to Alloa to see the mighty Vers in action.

Pity that the free bus didn't get there. You might have inspired the team in yellow to a win.
