Stevie Aitken's Love Child
CraigKillie or HibeeJibee will probably know the answer to this, would he be allowed to play 3 games as a trialist? Just a thought. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be possible. International clearance would have to come through for him to play in Scotland, and the only way for that to be granted is if he has agreed a contract at a club, which would then mean that he couldn't play as a trialist. SuperTon
Thank f*ck we didn't only sign him until the end of the season, that would've been an even bigger disaster Morton
Sinclair Street
If we don't get promoted he'll probably stick in a transfer request.
Pie Of The Month
Won't the deal be 'subject to international clearance' meaning the contract won't be enforceable? You tend to read when these deals are done that they are subject to international clearance being received.

If he signs the deal, but we don't get the International Clearance, then he could still try to find a club in England until the end of the season. That way, we still have him signed up for the next 2 seasons.
Vaderton
He had offers from other teams too so obviously nobody knew. The rule is a total joke anyway, serves absolutely no purpose. Absolutely gutted. Aye true he did, and not one person on here either came on an said " by ra way he cannae sign....." AND....other teams were in for him INCLUDING FUCKIN PREMIERSHIP TEAMS LOL. Dear oh dear...Morton weren't the only ones who didn't see the rule. Smartarsess need not apply.

It's quite strange really... we had all the discussion on here/.org about the Dec McManus situation and how he couldn't go to another team if he wasn't getting a game at Aberdeeen. Cappielow1
Would it be possible for us to release him, he's signs for Largs Thistle who then release him next week, and, as someone suggested earlier, we resign him on amateur terms for the rest of the season? Did something similar not happen Chris Aitken a few years back? Just a thought?
