Ira Gaines
i hope not. nowhere near the top 50. You'll be in for a shock.
invergowrie arab
You'll be in for a shock. I don't doubt it will be up there just one of those films that grinds my gears as being perennially overrated. See also the green mile.
Tamdunk
It'll be either Shawshank or Pulp Fiction, I reckon that Shawshank may get more no1s, but fewer votes than PF. I didn't get what all the fuss was when I watched Shawshank, probably had too high expectations as everyone at the time seemed to call it their favourite film. Put my list in and it had (my ratings) 1-10/10, 7- 9/10s and 2-8/10s Better overall than the 80s list.
Ludo*1
There's a 'top 3' developed and I'm not sure how likely it is that they'll be caught. They have quite a commanding lead over the rest and they'll be the ones more than likely to battle it out. Still doesn't take much to see a film make the cut, but even despite that fact, there's a few major names missing out at this moment in time! AberdeenBud
I'm with IA, Shawshank is enjoyable enough but should be nowhere near top ten of the decade.
Ira Gaines
I have Shawshank in my list. It does what a movie should do in my eyes. It's involving, the plot and performances both helping with that, and the simplicity of it is a plus point for me. It's pretty fucking excellent. Ira Gaines
Oh, and no movie voted into this list shouldn't be there.

Ludo*1
Been a big day for some of the films on the list and a lot has changed! Just a quick question, would people prefer to know the '1 point club' at the end of the countdown, the beginning or have a couple of films spliced through every so often? Ludo*1
Just to show how fierce the competition is, the 1 point club so far collectively has 23 Oscar nominations to their name and 4 wins.

Ludo*1
Can I ask that quite so many people stop posting up their lists for now? There'll be no point in compiling a list!

Shengus Khan
Good to see a few folk putting LA Confidential on their lists. It's a fantastic film which I feel doesn't quite get the plaudits it deserves.
