You could understand if they expected a good few hundred away fans coming as the reason for such an early inspection. I doubt they would have brought more than 20 or 30.

I smell a rat.

The fact the covers aren't down in the winter is a joke, regardless if we're playing on the Saturday or not. It is Scotland and it does drop below zero frequently so the covers should be down as much as possible that's what they're there for.

Don't we usually have them down at the stand side and double them up? Today was surely preventable.

Well apparently they haven't been down in weeks even though the temperature has been sub zero just about every night. The covers should be down most nights in winter especially when the temperatures are well below freezing. Today was completely preventable, if the covers were down like they should've been the game would've went ahead no problem, it was almost 9 degrees today in Greenock and to have a game called off Is embarrassing.

Hopefully they've learned and the covers are down tonight and kept down every night until the temperatures overnight start to rise.
