Colkitto
Sun is blazing down on Cappielow at the moment. On ALL of the pitch?
TonFan
Sun is blazing down on Cappielow at the moment. It just takes the main stand side to be frozen for the game to be called off. Can't see the game being on, especially with an 11 am inspection.

USTon
Hospitality starts around 12 so I guess if the inspection is any later it snookers that.

Mayos Noun
My back garden is pretty hard behind the house and softish around he side. I assume Cappielow will be similar as I'm only 5 minutes away. It's getting softer as the day goes on though. I reckon the pitch would be playable by 3 but if the decision is in half an hour it most likely wouldn't be. Hope the weather prediction has been taken into consideration. I hate Saturday's without the football.
Scosha
Did the covers not get put down last night? It's been cold but not as cold as it was earlier on in the week so surely there shouldn't be any snow left frozen on it.

FlyerTon
4 and a half hours to the game and at 2pm it wiil be 8c http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcuw76w44 Surely they'll take that into account?
TurbineTon
Apparently there's 10 days worth of ice at the main stand. The game will be off
AlbionMan
Why not a 1pm inspection? It's not like we're on the other side of the country. Our team bus us leaving Forthbank at 12.
Dr Zhivago
I'm not much over a mile away from Cappielow. Garden has been white a few mornings this week, but no sign of frost today. Given forecast I'd think the pitch will be perfectly playable at 3pm. Usual concern for the shaded part under the stand for 11am inspection - that might get it called off if the ref doesn't take forecast into account. Could surely have another inspection at 12 if needed - before hospitality starts and Stirling team bus leaves.
TonFan
Our team bus us leaving Forthbank at 12.00 Who cares. If there's a chance of the game being on at 1pm, then surely it would make sense to have an inspection then.
SuperTon
The Ayr game has been called off so the forecast for later obviously hasn't been taken into account. Agreed the inspection is far too early should be done at 12/1pm.

Mayos Noun
If that doesn't get deemed playable then the ref needs a bawslap.
TurbineTon
We probably all know that, but the powers that be will be looking to call it off asap,to avoid people traveling.
