Let the worst attack in the league run riot on the worst defence? Be satisfied if we scrape a 1-0 with a fluke off someone’s backside. It’s what my fingers are crossed for.
I’m not sure that partnership got much of a chance, Thommo seemed to be the third choice partner for Carrick after Hilton and Spence and most of the time as a late sub with little chance to influence matters.
Fancy footwork, easily marshalled into dead ends by a competent defence, no left foot. He's not aiming to continue part time, ambition is to return to a full time club.
Stirling bums are just as squeaky are those at Queens, not a fag paper between the clubs with both sides are as flaky as each other. Only hope it’s us that turn up on Saturday.
The weather and a referee with a slew of idiosyncratic decisions spoiled a terrible game between two poor teams. No points each would have been a fair reflection of what was on offer.
Aye, after Saturday we’ll be missing the blue pound as you disappear upwards. It was helpful while it lasted. No need to open the terracing again until we get you or another big team in a cup.
That one was worn 1957 to 1959, there were two hoops on the jersey. The players’s crossed arms hide the second hoop. The two hoops were kept till 1964/65 with minor detail changes, neck shape and detail, badge added, different socks
An unimpressive performance with an excellent result at the end. The first half was pretty much a non event, Edinburgh tidy. enough in possession without posing a threat, we were flat and apart from one good save by the City keeper and a scrambled goal didn’t contribute very much to the entertainment.
The red card right at the start of the second settled the result, and let us win comfortably without raising our level of performance.
For all the justified criticism of Cammy, he is regularly hung out to dry with Milne going awol and giving him no cover. Add to Milne’s weakness, his fear of making or taking a tackle. He’s a skilful player who could be an asset if he had a heart.
You’re a lot better than the rest of us, perhaps Hamilton excepted on a good day. The only danger I see is you getting carried away with a cup run and taking your eye off the league.
More may have left if the north car park had been easier to escape from, taxi and bus passengers only able to get away. Took me 30 minutes to get out, serves me right for parking in the row nearest the stand
Aye they’ve dried up there since the south terracing reopened. Would be an easy fix to close it again and let the goals flow in. Save on stewards for the 15/20 supporters too.
We’ve been on a terrible run of results and performances, lifted slightly by the first half last week. My crum of comfort is that in back to back games against the same opponents the winner of the first frequently struggles to repeat in the second. We live in hope.
