I thought it was more at the charge that was being levelled against him, and the severity of his situation, but maybe I got the scene wrong. edit: there's little moments in the show that throw me right off balance. The wee scene with Kate going back to her partners late at night and him being pissed off - what's she up to... Actually thought it was quite hard to follow and rushed at times. Will maybe need to give it a second watch. Carmichael was good but it's like trying to fill the boots of Pele being the guest star after Stephen Graham. This was my feeling. He'd not have to go down himself, and could have got Steve or Kate to do it. edit: and Lisa was very clear that the tip-off came from the prison. Piss poor. playing his part i reckon - he's stringing everyone along in order to out the real top man, acting suitably dumbfounded at getting his collar felt and his ongoing general stupidity is all part of the act also - interesting speculation elsewhere that lisa mcqueen is the lovechild from jackie laverty and tony gate's university fling, and she's got herself involved with the OCG to get revenge on those responsible for her parent's deaths; possible that she was bought up in care as some paperwork that surfaced earlier in this series noted that she'd had involvement with social services; think that's maybe that's a bit of a reach, though... 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
