The Great Big Kilmarnock Thread

Recommended Posts

Seemingly Westlake, Clingan, Eremenko, Miller, Eccelso, Pasca and Eremenko away.

So they released Eremenko, called him back, then released him again?

Harsh.

A lot of money saved in that list you'd imagine.

Nigel Hasslebaink wanted his wages doubled , a house bought for him and for the club to pay for his driving lessons!

It goes without saying Saints told him to bolt.

Ironically, he got none of those things at St Johnstone either.

He got extra money and a 2 year deal, lived in digs with Tade and still can't drive.

Pooler released. Madness.

Thompson no surprise.

Seemingly Westlake, Clingan, Eremenko, Miller, Eccelso, Pasca and Eremenko away.

If we lose them then we must keep Brennan, Chantler, Kiltie & O'Hara Slater

This news isn't a shock to him - he's had a leaving party booked for his kid at the Powerleague for a couple of weeks now. #ITK

The Pascali quotes from Ronnie MacKay are baffling.

Most people accept that Paska is on £2k p/w or there abouts. So he says that the club left him "no choice" after offering him only £1k p/w and no accommodation? Then he says that he wants to stay in Scotland? Where exactly does he think he's going to get that kind of money here, given his age and declining ability? The only clubs daft enough to pay him that are Dundee and Rangers, and the Dees seem to have tightened up a bit (at least by their standards).

I'd have understood him going back to Italy to be with his family, he and the club could have released a statement saying that he was homesick and parting amicably. Instead we've got what is either a negotiating tactic to get more money from Killie (say that the club are the bad guys in the hope the fans demand we keep him) or the words of a man who has finally let bitterness take over.

It should never have ended like this, Paska :(

Oh, and releasing Dylan Pooler is about the most ludicrous decision yet. Wow.

Correct. Not many of the youth players we have released have turned out to be bad decisions but this one will turn out to be. Cracking player who is a natural goal scorer.
