Bring Back Paddy Flannery Posted August 3, 2016 Share Posted August 3, 2016 Would be delighted to see these make a return. Would be even more delighted to see the '5 things' and 'report cards' features make a return but understandable that it's hugely time consuming and not a hugely appealing task on a Sunday. As with the podcasts, the amount of work that went into the Five Things and the quarterly report cards was unreal. For the former, I was basically sacrificing almost every Sunday to watch highlights, read match reports, write copy, edit copy, format content etc. Sometimes I didn't get to my bed until 3am. As for the report cards, I would take the week off work to get them done. They were really tricky to do, especially for League 2 teams like Annan Athletic and Montrose, teams without decent highlights packages. It's nice to read that people liked our work and appreciated the effort. I'm pretty proud at what we achieved between 2012 and 2015. I will, however, keep an eye out for who they've had on in the past so I don't repeat their work. I'm pleased to see there's a decent pop for the Pelé Podcast's return and I hope it does well.
