I'd keep McKenna as he is hopefully over his injury problems and Burns can stay as he brings value as a coach but I suspect that his style of play is starting to catch up with him.

Chris Mitchell looks done and he's been replaced by Dowie and Kidd. Full time personal trainer in 4 years NAP. Kevin D can also go.

Paton's chocolate hamstrings are too risky to take a wage out on again. He might need another summer to get back to what he was like but we've been saying that since he came here. He doesn't seem like he fits into our style of play that well any more.

Not 100% sure who's out of contract apart from the loanees. So I'll just do it for everyone including them.

Keep: Cerny, Hanlon, Forster, Fontaine, Gray, Stevenson, Robertson, Fyvie, McGeouch, Allan, Stanton, Harris, Cummings, El Alagui.

Undecided: Perntreou, Watson, Boyle, Malonga, Djedje

Release: Oxley, Craig, Handling.

Keeping Harris would mean Boyle would almost certainly not stay. I thought Boyle was exceptional as a RWB, which was a huge surprise. If he can keep doing that I'd change my mind.

Somone who could play LB and CB for competition, a proper defensive midfielder and maybe someone who could play up front or wide depending on the formation would be nice to bring in.

Release: Cuthbert, Scott, Fox, Elliot, Mckay( Away back to Rangers anyway - Thank f*ck)

Undecided: Moon, Hill, Nade, Stewart, Laidlaw. Keep these players if there isn't better available for the same money.

Move McKenna into keep.

Our problem will be, out of those we want to keep how many will we actually able to?

I dunno if I'm missing something... but how can you be undecided on your joint top goalscorer and also want to release the other? (Conroy)... :unsure2:

probably because its only in the last couple of months hes scored most of his goals,up until then pretty ineffective.conroy for me doesnt contribute enough in open play and although he has scored 6 have opted to keep nade and vaughan who have both also scored 6

If we stay up.

Keep:

Brownlie

Thomson (think he will go FT)

Armstrong

Wedderburn

O'Brien

Brett

Toshney (think he will get a FT deal elsewhere)

Robertson

Unsure:

Milne (under contract so he will stay but he's been poor)

Hughes (same as above)

Nish (under contract but will be too old)

Marshall (I reckon he will command too high a fee for what he brings)

Adamson (quite like Kenny but struggles at this level, would probably keep him)

Bin:

Miller

Higgins

Johnston

Kane

Campbell

Halsman

Lynas

Callaghan

Scullion

Stewart

Of the loan signings I wouldn't rush to get any of them back but Herron and Buchanan would be worth a sniff.

I'd keep archie, he did have a horrendous injury, and is getting better all the time. Mark Wilson will definitely be better if he stays clear of injuries. Good experience at the back, and will benefit from a full pre-season, otherwise I totally agree with you, and if findlay doesn't come back, Coleman deserves his chance, Taggart been probably best summer signing, but van Zanten did make right back his position, 50/50 who stays out of those two

Id also keep archie, sonsteam said his goal record isn't great which is true, but at the end of the day how many starts has he had up front? Also when he gets subbed on its 9/10 times to play wide.

Plus the only players who have scored more than him are aggy and fleming who both start far more games than him. He's been playing better but obviously needs someone to help him up top, don't think that player is fleming, he's better in midfield.

I'd agree with most of that. I'd keep Miller though - not a first team starter but can play everywhere so good cover.

Hearts will surely release Buchanan so would be worth a punt if he's on low wages - see how he develops.
