Most can't look past them.

Especially Eremenko.

I'm honestly glad he's away.

The fandom around him is embarrassing at times.

I agree. It was ridiculous. Even when he was unfit or playing poor. Some fans couldn't see it and thought he was the messiah! Will miss Pasca for being a good guy and good servant to the club but his time is up.

ONE TEAM IN AYRSHIRE

Agree with everything you've said mate.

He would misplace passes and folk would forgive him but anyone else done it and they would be called all the useless b*****ds.

People kept remembering his tremendous first spell not the well below average return.

Eremenko's delivery was exceptional in the 4-1 victory at Firhill.

Very talented lad.

Diving bazza though ;)

Aye. 1 game out of how many he was magical.

Give big Archie a phone.

He's still looking for a club as this big money move to Thailand with Kenny Shiels seems to have evaporated.

Or the game against Inverness where he was running the show until having to go off...

Or Celtic at Parkhead until he had to be subbed off after Pasca's red...

Or the time in September/October where there was a run of 5 goals in which he was involved in 4...

Or his late winner against Hamilton...

He was over rated.

Good riddence.

 He was hardly "magical" that day. He must have touched the ball three times.

Or his late winner against Hamilton...

Or Clingan's two late winners against Motherwell & Dundee United?

For the money Eremenko was on, you need him to perform to a high standard almost every week. The reality is he simply didn't do that. Without a doubt the most naturally gifted footballer I've ever seen play for Kilmarnock, but IMHO he should never have returned.

He was supposedly on £2k p/w, with Paska on £1.7k p/w with his £1k pcm rent paid for him. The time comes when you have to start looking forward rather than to the past, and with both declining as players their wages can be better spent elsewhere. Locke has already IMO used their wages to good effect.

Someone convince me of what Stevie Smith has ever done to warrant a three-year contract?

Lavishing lengthy contracts on ageing (and in Smith's case, very injury prone) players is surely a questionable strategy from a manager with a helluva lot to prove.

It was the strategy we employed in the season before we got relegated when it all started to go wrong for us.

They aren't really 3 year deals though.

They need to play a specific number of games for the next year to kick in. For example, if they're shite they'll not get next season. See Miller, Cairney and Ngoo as examples.

Isn't Ngoo still at the club?
