The boots, signed by Bryan, have been donated by Colin Elliot to support the fundraising activities of the eleven Airdrie supporters who are making the trip to supply and build gers, supply medical and veterinary equipment, clothes and gifts for the local communities. It is a unique trip, a unique cause and a unique pair of boots. The expedition guys are looking for offers for them. All money raised will go straight to supporting life changing causes in Mongolia. Gilfillan lives in the Borders and the travelling, combined with an increase in work commitments and the demands of a young family led to him asking to be released to enable him to concentrate on his day job and his family. The man himself said he was "disappointed to leave" doesn't sound like he had a choice! Can't believe people can't see his worth to the team even up at Brechin the other week we brought him on for the last 10 mins or so and he made a massive impact on us seein the game out. If he signed there would be a good chance he would spend most of the time in the stand !!! He has shown that he can't handle the attention he gets in the lower league's !!!
