Anyway, Martinez is a terrific signing for Milan, exactly what they need. Good to see Milan winning over a Premier League club who could without a doubt offer more money. Zlatan & Kongodbia would be great signings as well. They've needed proper investment for years, looks like they're finally on the right track to sorting out this mess they're in. Talk that Pazzini will replace Lambert as the "target man" option. New rumours about a swap deal involving Balotelli for Bonera too, with AC Milan closing in on Hummels. Just a rumour just now, but with Berlusconi saying he'll spend absolutely anything to "restore" Milan to their "rightful place", and then Galliani saying Hummels was the main target, its not completely implausible, nor would it be particularly bad for Hummels if Milan do build the type of squad they want too. Tamdunk Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Liverpool have turned down a bid of 35.5m up to 40m for sterling, so I tried to do a fag packet valuation of him based on my limited knowledge of his current situation. 145k x 52 x 2 is what Liverpool would pay out in wages including 45% tax (they may have more costs, not really sure) so 15.1m Hes a home grown player so that automatically adds about 10m on to the price tag for English clubs. I heard they have to pay QPR about 8m from the transfer. He's only 20,so potential would add another 5-10m Id say about 45m would be a good deal for Liverpool. How much do you reckon he's worth?
