Diamonds are Forever
I think in 'open play' Murray can match Djokovic (although maybe not over a whole match), but with his relatively unreliable serve matched with Djokovic's return I just can't see him being solid enough over 5 sets to win. AberdeenBud
Awful early but not outside the realms that we might see a calendar GS. Andy at Wimbledon or burnout by the time we reach Flushing Meadows probably Novak's greatest obstacle.
peasy23
The difference in Murray's mentally is huge, he used to beat himself up when he let things slip like in the third set today and would go off the boil for a few games. After losing it today he came out fired up at the start of the 4th set and the result was very soon never in doubt. Another huge milestone in his career, think Djokovic will be too strong for him though.

peasy23
WID v WID NAW v WID You would have no say in it, if you said NAW and she said WID then I wouldn't fancy your chances of fighting her off.

Loki
If Djoko wins this and Wimbledon then he would probably skip some of the events before the US He only has one exemption (like Murray) and Djokovic used his for Madrid. There are two mandatory Masters before the US Open, so if he was to pull out of one he would drop 1000 ranking points and get a 0 recorded against him. Something tells me that if he was on for a grand slam he wouldn't care. Dont see him winning wimbledon though

pantene proV
At what point did variety leave the Women's game? Combine that with almost every players' lack of confidence on the big points and it's dreadful to watch most of the time.
TheScarf
The breaking of serve in the women's game is ludicrous. It's almost becoming an advantage to be the receiving player these days.
pantene proV
Yep, Safarova looked confident for a set and a half then serving out the match she folds

peasy23
They were showing Serena warming up and she was coughing and spluttering all the way through it, doesn't look happy at all.
booitsme7
Bacsinszky wins the first set 6-4. This is the 4th time Serena has lost the first set in the French Open this year.
