Audaces Fortuna Juvat
This one always cracks me up. Not only does she fail to catch it twice before stealing it, she then has the cheek to high five someone straight after her theft.

mizfit
She was on the news yesterday saying that she was a friend of the family and it was a misunderstanding. Didn't look it to me, it looked like an opportunist taking advantage.
stonedsailor
A chief engineer joined our ship yesterday with the local Manchester paper. The boy's family are calling for everyone to calm down over this. Reading between the lines it looks as though it may well have been the woman who caught the shirt. The woman's child was in the same team or at least the same competition that the boy was competing in and the two families know each other. throbber
It doesn't really look like a misunderstanding her and a man are clearly grabbing it of the boy and the thing ends up on gumtree within hours. Its clearly so she can have a few days to come up with an excuse for her awful actions

throbber
They were all there as a group, apparently. Friends. I believe they might know each other but they clearly took the shirt by force and the boy didn't want to let it go, then low and behold its on Ebay for 1500 quid! Im sure the woman has gone grovelling to the family and begged for forgiveness and they will give some convincing story to save her arse out of sympathy, thats why the truth never came out right away! what other explanation can there be for this? bullywee
The woman is clearly stronger that the boy and as a result deserves the shirt as reward. Basic survival of the fittest.
forameus
The woman is clearly stronger that the boy and as a result deserves the shirt as reward. Basic survival of the fittest. In all seriousness, what's she thinking? Fair enough to bump the top off a kid - shit thing to do, but you'd have probably gotten away with it relatively scot-free if she hadn't been thick enough to stick it up on gumtree. That could've been a priceless memory for the kid, and instead it turned into a meal ticket that will never arrive for the woman. The "truth will come out" bit suggests that Liverpool wrote her statement. Baffling.
throbber
The truth will come out comment is so she can bide time to come out with some realistic bullshit story to cover her own shameless act, there can't be that much more to the story that meets the eye
invergowrie arab
You could probably buy the shirt with a Preston player in it for 1500 quid.
