It's just a technicality of the FIFA voting system that even when there are 2 candidates, the first ballot requires a 2/3 majority to be won outright, then a 2-person "run-off" follows.

Chap on the BBC News seems to think 133-73 is earthshaking stuff but Blatter is clearly going to win by a country mile here.

Unless they're showing loyalty in the first round, and get brutal in the second, like Maggie.

If anything you think it might be the other way around.

Vote against him in the 'meaningless' poll to apparently make a point, then switch over in the headline contest.

Anyway he was only a handful of votes off winning outright without the need for stage #2.

If we presume that most of Europe voted against him then fewer than 2 dozen other countries out of 150+ did so. Disheartening.
