gc_smfc Posted February 23, 2016 Share Posted February 23, 2016 The Spanish league isnt "dross", its just the big three sides there are so far ahead of everyone else they make them look absolutely awful, whereas in England the "top" sides are fucking rank which means the shite sides compete with them and it makes it look like their decent. I'd bank on Sevilla trouncing Tottenham if the two sides met The bottom half of the Spanish league has much worse teams than the other top three leagues. I'd bank that Spurs would give Sevilla quite the game and certainly wouldn't be pumped in either game over two leagues. Just because the English league is overrated doesn't mean it's shit. Are Palace/Bournemouth/Swansea/Norwich/Newcastle/Sunderland and Villa really streets ahead or that much better than Valencia/Malaga/Real Betis/Getafe/Rayo Vallecano/Espanyol/Gijon/Las Palmas/Levante and Granada? Teams like Las Palmas, Rayo and Sporting are worse than the current awful teams in England. Edit to add they are still better than the likes of Villa. But the Spanish league isnt great.
